It has been regularly invited to perform with Polish orchestras and has appeared at festivals such as Vratislavia Cantans, Warsaw Autumn, Music in Old Cracow, Festival of Polish Music, and Film Music Festival. The ensemble has collaborated with Jacek Wójcicki, Grzegorz Turnau, and Zbigniew Wodecki, and has also participated in the world premiere of Zbigniew Preisner’s Requiem for My Friend, as well as in the recording of the soundtrack to Agnieszka Holland’s film The Secret Garden and Zbigniew Preisner’s Christmas carols. After seventy years of existence, the Boys’ Choir of the Kraków Philharmonic expanded its activities by establishing a Girls’ Choir section. The choir performs in philharmonic halls and churches, at schools, and at charity concerts, presenting a varied repertoire that includes pieces composed especially for the ensemble.
