A professional chamber ensemble with over seventy-five years of tradition, its own vision of artistic language, and an original, recognisable sound. The choir focuses particularly on interpreting twentieth- and twenty-first-century music and producing recordings for Polskie Radio. The ensemble has premiered works by Krzysztof Penderecki, Witold Lutosławski, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, and Wojciech Kilar. It consists of outstanding singers who are equally at home in a cappella programmes and vocal-instrumental works spanning a variety of styles and eras, passionately combining the heritage of Polish music with original projects. Since 2023, the Polish Radio Choir has operated as part of the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice, developing educational activities and innovative artistic initiatives. The ensemble is based in Kraków. Since the 2025/26 season, dr hab. Dawid Ber has served as the Choir’s Artistic Director.
