Artistic Director of the Kraków Philharmonic, he has previously served as Director of the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, Music Director of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, Second Conductor of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Conductor and Deputy Music Director of Welsh National Opera in Cardiff. He has worked with numerous orchestras both in Poland and abroad. He has given concerts in France, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, Armenia, South Korea, and the Gulf states. He has collaborated with the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, the Kraków Opera, the Baltic Opera, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, and the Grand Theatre in Poznań. His work includes numerous radio and television recordings, including the 2020 Fryderyk Award for his interpretation of K. Szymanowski’s Hagith. He has also made numerous recordings of film music, including for the award-winning film EO by Jerzy Skolimowski.
Since 2020, he has taught at the Chair of Symphony and Opera Conducting at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he runs his own conducting class.
