The Capella Regia Polona ensemble was founded in September 2018. Its repertoire includes Polish and European Baroque music, ranging from oratorio-cantata works and operas (including Rodelinda by Handel, L’Orfeo by Monteverdi, Scene buffe by A. Scarlatti, and Dido and Aeneas by Purcell) to instrumental music. The ensemble consists of young and talented instrumentalists specialising in historically informed performance and playing period instruments or their copies. The musicians collaborate with leading Polish and international ensembles. Harpsichordist Krzysztof Garstka serves as the Music Director of Capella Regia Polona.
