A music producer, composer, singer, and songwriter, Baasch has been active in the alternative electronic music scene for many years. He also composes music for films and theatrical productions. He is a Fryderyk Award winner in the Electronic Music category and has twice been nominated for the award for film music. He regularly performs with his band at major festivals in Poland, including Open’er, Tauron New Music, Audioriver, Męskie Granie, Zorza, and Co Jest Grane. He has also performed abroad, including in France, Germany (Reeperbahn Festival), Norway, Iceland, Czechia, Romania (TIFF – Transilvania International Film Festival), Slovakia (Sharpe), Hungary (Sziget Festival), Lithuania, and China. A defining feature of Baasch’s artistic career is the diversity of projects in which he is involved.

Baasch has released eight full-length albums. The first was the soundtrack to Tomasz Wasilewski’s award-winning film Floating Skyscrapers. He has also composed incidental music for Verdi’s opera Simon Boccanegra, staged by Agnieszka Smoczyńska at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, as well as the soundtrack to the series The Doll, directed by Paweł Maślona, and to the film Lipstick on the Glass and the series Czarna śmierć, both directed by Kuba Czekaj. He also collaborates with theatre directors. His works have been released, among others, by Max Cooper’s Mesh label, Pets Recordings, the Belgian label PIAS, and Kayax. For several years, he has hosted his own programme, Neurotransmisja, on Radio 357.
