Baltic Neopolis Orchestra

November 14 @ 19:00 - 21:00

The programme consists of six strongly contrasting works by composers from Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Argentina, and Serbia. Three of them were dedicated to the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, and each presents a different perspective on the remarkable combination of instruments that makes up a chamber string orchestra. The composers use the orchestra’s distinctive sound to express profound emotions and recall the past, while also sweeping listeners up in dance and musical play, with echoes of folk traditions resounding throughout.
