His <g id=\"gid_0\">Masques<\/g>, Op. 34, belonging to the Impressionist\/Expressionist phase, present his interpretation of figures rooted in culture.   <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Three Grotesques<\/em> by Bacewicz fit into the trend of comic and dance vitalism. In turn, Bacevi\u010dius\u2019 works represent cosmological ideas: anticipated by <em>Po\u00e8me mystique<\/em>, Op. 6 and <em>M\u00e9ditaton<\/em>, Op. 29 from the Kaunas, modernist years, and embodied by <em>Trois pens\u00e9es musicales<\/em>, Op. 75 from the American years. Cosmic music expressed the artist\u2019s inner universe.
