On 19 May, the Eufonie Festival became a member of the European Festivals Association (EFA), one of the world\u2019s most prestigious festival organisations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Eufonie were admitted to the EFA during the Arts Festivals Summit 2026 Budva, the annual congress of EFA members, which took place from 16 to 19 May. The event culminated in the General Assembly, during which members of the association discussed key issues related to its activities and considered new membership applications. During the meeting in Budva, Natalia Grzesi\u0144ska, coordinator of the Eufonie Festival, presented the festival to the EFA community. <\/p>\n\n

EFA brings together more than 100 festivals from 40 countries, representing the fields of music, dance, theatre, visual arts, film, literature and circus arts. Founded in 1952, the association has pursued its mission of rebuilding Europe and the world through art since its inception. <\/p>\n\n

Eufonie\u2019s membership in the EFA confirms the festival\u2019s growing importance on the international arena. It also marks another step forward for the event, which has been building bridges between the cultures of Central and Eastern Europe since its first edition \u2013 from the Balkans, through Romania and Austria, the Visegrad Group countries, Ukraine and Belarus, to the Baltic States. <\/p>\n\n

Moreover, membership in the EFA network creates new opportunities for artistic collaboration and the exchange of experience among festival organisers from across Europe. It also strengthens the visibility of Polish and Central European culture by promoting and showcasing music from different parts of the region. <\/p>\n\n
