A graduate of the State Primary and Secondary Music School in \u0141om\u017ca and of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gda\u0144sk. In her musical practice, she combines the sound of acoustic instruments, such as the cello or the zither, with electronics, hence creating emotional, immersive sound compositions.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Her solo releases \u2013 the EP\u202fThrills\u202f(2024) and her debut album\u202fISKRA\u202f(2025), released by the Berlin label Miasmah \u2013 explore the themes of memory, identity and the relationship between humans and nature. By working with sound and image, the artist also implements collaborative projects.\u202fShe composes music for art installations and for award-winning documentaries (Koka, 2024, dir. by Aliaksandr Tsymbaliuk) and feature etudes (In Heaven and on Earth, 2023, dir. by Yulia Yukhymets).  <\/p>\n\n<p>She has presented her works at music festivals and in galleries in Poland and Europe, including at the Rheinsberger Musiktage (Rheinsberg), Electrum Up to Date Festival (Bia\u0142ystok), Live at Mi-So (Berlin) and Copenhagen Photo Festival (Copenhagen). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Olga Anna Markowska\u202f(b. 1993) \u2013 a Polish interdisciplinary artist, multi-instrumentalist and composer.
