The artist completed her vocal studies at the Kyiv Conservatory. While pursuing postgraduate studies at the Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music, she made her debut on the stage of the Warsaw Chamber Opera in 1992 and four years later \u2013 on the stage of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es in Paris as Pamina in Mozart\u2019s The Magic Flute. <br\/><br\/>   <\/p>\n\n<p>The artist\u2019s repertoire covers over 50 parts, including in operas by Monteverdi, Gluck, Handel, Mozart, Weber, Bizet, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Debussy, Poulenc and by contemporary composers, staged at the most famous and prestigious opera houses in the world, as well as released on CDs and recorded for radio and television. These roles earned her great acclaim from critics and audiences. She has performed at, among others, the Op\u00e9ra national de Paris \u2013 Op\u00e9ra Bastille, Palais Garnier, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Ch\u00e2telet, Salle Pleyel (Paris), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Komische Oper Berlin, Berliner Konzerthaus, Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Teatro Real, Auditorio Nacional de M\u00fasica (Madrid), Bayerische Staatsoper, M\u00fcnchner Philharmonie, Palais des Beaux-Arts, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Royal de la Monnaie (Brussels), Theater an der Wien, Bregenzer Festspiele, Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Gen\u00e8ve, Finnish National Opera, Flemish Opera, Tokyo Suntory Hall and Teatr Wielki \u2013 Polish National Opera. She also performs an extensive chamber repertoire and recitals with her sister, pianist Natalia Pasiecznik.     <\/p>\n\n<p>Olga Pasiecznik has participated in numerous oratorio and symphony concerts in famous venues in almost all European countries, the USA, Canada, Israel, China, Japan and Australia. On a number of occasions, she has worked with the most prominent orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra (USA), Belgian National Orchestra, Orquesta Nacional de Espa\u00f1a and Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de RTVE (Spain), English Concert, Wiener Symphoniker, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre National de France, Les Musiciens du Louvre-Grenoble (France), Akademie f\u00fcr Alte Musik Berlin, Freiburger Barockorchester, Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and NDR Bigband. The artist has performed under the baton of such masters as Fabio Biondi, Ivor Bolton, Andrzej Boreyko, Frans Br\u00fcggen, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Marcus Creed, Charles Dutoit, Mark Elder, Ren\u00e9 Jacobs, Vladimir Jurowski, Roy Goodman, Christopher Hogwood, Heinz Holliger, Philippe Herreweghe, Jacek Kaspszyk, Kazimierz Kord, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Marc Minkowski, John Nelson, Kazushi Ono, Andrew Parrott, Krzysztof Penderecki, Trevor Pinnock, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Marcello Viotti, Antoni Wit and Massimo Zanetti.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Olga Pasiecznik is a prizewinner of international vocal competitions: in \u2018s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands, the Mirjam Helin Competition in Helsinki and the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. She has also been recognised in Poland: with a Polityka Passport Award (1997), a Fryderyk Award, granted by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (1997, 2004, 2018), the Orpheus Award of the Warsaw Autumn Festival (1999), a Gold Cross of Merit (2001) and the Andrzej Hiolski Award (2004) for the best female operatic role. In 2005 and 2010, the international opera magazine Opernwelt nominated her for the title of \u201cThe Best Singer of the Artistic Season\u201d. In 2011, the artist received an annual Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, while in 2012 she was granted an Officer\u2019s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. In 2023, she was awarded a Gloria Artis Gold Medal for Merit to Culture. Her recording output includes over 60 CDs and DVDs, which she has registered for, among others, CD Accord, Dabringhaus und Grimm, Harmonia Mundi, Naxos and Opus 111.        <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>She was born in Ukraine to a family of scientists.
