A music producer, composer, singer, and songwriter, Baasch has been active in the alternative electronic music scene for many years. He also composes music for films and theatrical productions. He is a Fryderyk Award winner in the Electronic Music category and has twice been nominated for the award for film music. He regularly performs with his band at major festivals in Poland, including Open\u2019er, Tauron New Music, Audioriver, M\u0119skie Granie, Zorza, and Co Jest Grane. He has also performed abroad, including in France, Germany (Reeperbahn Festival), Norway, Iceland, Czechia, Romania (TIFF \u2013 Transilvania International Film Festival), Slovakia (Sharpe), Hungary (Sziget Festival), Lithuania, and China. A defining feature of Baasch\u2019s artistic career is the diversity of projects in which he is involved. <\/p>\n\n
Baasch has released eight full-length albums. The first was the soundtrack to Tomasz Wasilewski\u2019s award-winning film Floating Skyscrapers. He has also composed incidental music for Verdi\u2019s opera Simon Boccanegra, staged by Agnieszka Smoczy\u0144ska at the Teatr Wielki \u2013 Polish National Opera, as well as the soundtrack to the series The Doll, directed by Pawe\u0142 Ma\u015blona, and to the film Lipstick on the Glass and the series Czarna \u015bmier\u0107, both directed by Kuba Czekaj. He also collaborates with theatre directors. His works have been released, among others, by Max Cooper\u2019s Mesh label, Pets Recordings, the Belgian label PIAS, and Kayax.
