One of the reviewers noted that “if Wesołowski had lived in the 19th century, he would have been in music history textbooks”.

He also creates film music – he has composed soundtracks for, among others, Wolf (Focus Features), starring Lily-Rose Depp and George MacKay, Listen to Me Marlon (Universal) and the film Minghun and the TV series Przesmyk [The Eastern Gate] (Max), directed by Jan P. Matuszyński.

Wesołowski’s pieces have been performed by the Warsaw Philharmonic, Orquesta Sinfónica de Entre Ríos in Parana (Argentina) and Szczecin Philharmonic. In 2024, he presented new music for the film The Passion of Joan of Arc by Carl Theodor Dreyer, performed live by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir.

March 2026 is going to see the premiere of his opera, commissioned by the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk.
In June, his latest solo album Song of the Night Mists was released by the British label Unheard of Hope.
