a pianist, composer and arranger. He completed his musical education in the field of piano and organ in Gdańsk while being active in three urban jazz ensembles. In 1996, he took part in the concert inaugurating the new organ in St. Bridget’s Church. It was also in Gdańsk that he participated in a Polish-Dutch project of reviving the art of carillon performance under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Gdańsk. He popularised the Gdańsk carillons by performing recitals from the towers of St. Catherine’s Church and the Main City Hall. After moving to Krakow, he has fully committed himself to creating his own music and performing on the jazz scene.

Piotr has worked with, among others, the Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw, the Słowacki Theatre and the Old Theatre in Krakow, the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, the Witkacy Theatre in Zakopane, the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre, the Wybrzeże Theatre, the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and Wrocław and the State Higher Theatre School in Krakow. He has created music and arrangements for theatrical plays, animations, short films and commercials. Piotr has performed at jazz music festivals (including the Krakow Jazz Festival, Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Złota Tarka), pop music festivals (the National Polish Song Festival in Opole, Sopot Festival, the first edition of Michał Urbaniak’s Vena Festival) and the Stage Song Review in Wrocław.

He has participated in many jazz projects, performing with, among others, Krzysztof Ścierański, Michał Urbaniak, Janusz Muniak, Anna Maria Jopek, Grzegorz Turnau or Krzysztof Śmietana.
