A Polish film, theatre and dubbing actor. He has been acting in films since his childhood; he made his first film appearance in Do przerwy 0:1. In the first half of the 1970s, he studied at the Higher State School of Music in Warsaw; however, after two years, he passed an entrance exam to study at the Acting Department at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Higher School of Theatre in Warsaw. In the theatre, he made his debut as Pan in Operetka by Witold Gombrowicz directed by Maciej Prus on the stage of the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw.
Krzysztof Gosztyła has been acting at the following Warsaw theatres: Dramatic Theatre (1980–1984, 1993–1994), Stage Presentations Theatre (1982, 1984, 1986), Polish Theatre (1984–1987), Na Woli [Wola] Theatre (1993), Roma Musical Theatre (1994), National Theatre (1997–1999), Teatr Wielki (1999), Ateneum (since 2000), Jewish Theatre (2002) and Rampa Theatre (2003), as well as at the Krakow theatres: Bagatela (2003) and KTO Theatre (2005).
