We invite you to a family concert for children aged 0-3 years at the Royal Baths Park. It will be an opportunity not only to listen to Chopin’s music and melodies from his favorite regions, but also to make music together. Children and parents will be able to sing, dance and play along with the musicians, discovering the world of sounds and live instruments that inspired little Frederick. This is a unique opportunity for the whole family to get a glimpse of Chopin’s childhood and spend time musically in the warm, joyful atmosphere of a real summer resort two centuries ago.

Mr. Pichon, or Frycek on vacation

Little Frederic Chopin was not only a brilliant musician, but also an energetic, curious boy. He most enjoyed his summer trips to Szafarnia – it was there, under the amusing pseudonym “Mr. Pichon,” that he wrote humorous letters, discovered the charms of country life and learned the melodies of Kuyavia. These sounds stayed in his memory forever, and later returned in the mazurkas and polonaises we know and love today.
