Sound installation: Konrad Smolenski / Everything Was Forever Until It Was No More

Together with the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow and the Krakow Festival Office (Sacrum Profanum Festival), we reach for the famous sound installation by Konrad Smoleński Everything Was Forever Until It Was No More, which represented Poland at the 2013 Venice Biennale.
We operate in a sustainable way, guided by the idea of artistic ecology and bringing back important existing works. Smoleński’s installation consists of two bronze bells, the tolling of which is recorded and processed electronically and then played by walls of speakers. An important element is the vibrating floor, which is also the stage for concerts, interacting with the installation. The artist, breaking stereotypes and expectations, creates a sphere of experience that the invited musicians and the public will enter. The boundaries between the music scene and the art space are thus blurred.
